Supro Ozark .
ca. 1958 Vintage Ozark Supro. This guitar sounds amazing and is an excellent slide guitar . Great gritty blues sound. It plays very nice and sounds amazing. It's got one cutway on the treble side. A very light and resonant body. The body is quite resonant; this guitar has a loud, ringing sound even unplugged. Very cool “gumby” headstock with the Supro logo tag attached.. The coolest feature is the pickup. It's Supro's standard single coil lap steel pickup, strings through the pickup, attaching to the back plate behind the pickup.. No other electric gets a slide sound anywhere near this. The tone is outrageous... Big , raw , and dense … very loud but with perfect definition and great dynamic range. Full 24 ¾” scale, like a Les Paul or SG, but in a smaller package. | Date(s): April 19, 2004. Album by Daniel Wollock. Photos by Daniel Wollock. 1 - 3 of 3 Total. 2788 Visits. |
