Orpheum K141 electric guitar
Orpheum electric guitar..made by KAY in the 1950s Similar to their K141 model Not too much is know about this except that it was clearly made by KAY guitars Chicago in the 1950s. Orpheum was a small musical instrument company based in NYC that had instruments built for them by other manufacturers. 25 1/4" scale From www.silvertoneworld.com "...were some of the very first true solidbody guitars offered by anyone, anywhere. These were some of the first attempts at production solidbody guitars, and show an amazing degree of sophistication, both in the very Les Paulâ„¢like body shape, and the single piece neck and body, with the sides added on much like Les' original 'Log' prototype electric guitar." This is an exceedingly rare guitar | Album by Daniel Wollock. Photos by The Lovely Light. 1 - 7 of 7 Total. 1284 Visits. |
