1974 Fender Stratocaster w/ Original Hard Shell Case

This is a 1974 Fender Stratocaster in rare and original mahogany finish. This Strat is one of the nicest we’ve seen pass through our store. It has been thoroughly inspected by a technician and found to be original in its entirety. It has a fabulously straight and clean maple neck that feels exceptionally smooth and comfortable to play. The serial number reads 56801X

Absolutely no repairs or modifications have been made to this Strat.

There are some light typical dings and scratches throughout the finish on the body and only a couple larger dings and minimal worming on the back (pictured). The neck and headstock have a few tiny dings and some visible finish wear. The fingerboard and frets look exceptionally clean with no buzzing or dead frets. There’s only some light visible fret wear in the first few positions. The pictures do a great job of describing its condition.

The original tuning machines are working smoothly. The hardware has some light tarnishing. All three staggered-pole single coil pickups are original and have strong output the original pots work well with no scratchiness. Original 3 position switch.

This Strat weighs in at 7ob 11oz, an ideal weight. It’s recently been setup with superb low action and correct intonation.
