FENDER JAG-STANG/ 50th Anniversary 96-97 /Blue.. Kurt Cobain style
The Fender Jag-Stang includes a "vintage style" single coil pickup and one "special design" humbucker, each with its own toggle switch which a player can use to switch from "on", "off", or "out-of-phase" settings. It employs the Mustang's "Dynamic Vibrato" bridge and like both of its predecessors, it has a 24" short scale neck (an exact replica of Cobain's favorite neck, from a Fender Mustang).
This more desirable 50th Anniversary 96-97 original issue example is in good condition although there are a couple of small paint chips (shown) and some belt-buckle “worming” on the back of the body. The pickguard is de-laminating in spots and a small piece of the top laminate is missing in front corner of the guard. There is light wear to the first several frets but the guitar plays and sounds great. The original tremolo arm is included as well.
