Fender Contemporary Series Sunburst Stra
| Fender Contemporary Series Sunburst Stratocaster with white 3-ply pickguard. It was manufactured in Japan between 1984-1987. The serial number is E669604. It features three single coil pickups, five-way selector and System III tremolo. The System III bridge is designed so that it can be used as a fixed bridge (non-tremolo) as well as a tremolo. One of the benefits of the bridge is the bridge locking feature. This feature greatly facilitates the setup and adjustment of the instrument. With the bridge locked, you can do all your neck, bridge, nut and intonation adjustments without having to hassle with a bridge that would be moving around as you are tuning and de-tuning the instrument. The System III Bridge also features a special fine-tuning system, designed to deliver micro-fine tuning while maintaining a low profile, out of the players way. The frets are in great condition, as it was seldom played. The neck is straight, and the action is low and fast. This is a very clean and great playing Strat. |
