Clevinger Bass
Clevinger upright portable electric jazz bass w/original gig bag. Previously owned by Tony Scherr http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tony_Scherr , bassist for Bill Frisell and solo artist in his own right. This fantastic Clevinger bass simply works, plays and sounds great. There are some nicks, scuffs, chips and scratches here and there. There is an errant screw hole (?) on the face just under the end of the fingerboard(shown). The standard angled peg has been modified to work more like a standard upright with a straight configuration. A foam pad is present to counter a slight vibration at the peg attachment point. This has been used well for years. A custom-made secondary bout-bar support replicates the feel of an acoustic upright bass and allows for better bass-to-body balance. The new Clevinger version of this bass sells for $4000.00 and up, so here's a chance to get a real bargain! This bass is approx. 53 inches long with the peg folded. | Album by Daniel Wollock.
