Although the date is not evident, we know it’s a pre-1976 model by the lack of a serial number on the headstock, the shape of the micro-tilt plate cavity. The later cavities were cut through to the end of the neck. We also know it’s not an early 1970s neck because the reproduction Fender “F” tuners are the later type…
The first few frets show some wear and there are many small dings all over the neck. The fingerboard has a couple of small dings as well. The truss rod works well. This was recently on a guitar so we know it plays very well. |
