69 Ludwig Super Sensitive Snare
1969 Ludwig Super-Sensitive Snare Drum 14”x5” – Rare!
This is a 1969 Ludwig Super Sensitive 14” Snare Drum with a brand new Remo Ambassador coated 14” batter head This snare is considered an extremely rare transition model and brands the 60’s style badge along with the desirable 70’s muffler. The serial number is 746344. It looks to be chrome over brass.
This is quite a unique and beautiful snare and in excellent condition with no repairs, cracks, dents or issues. There’s very light pin hole pitting on the chrome and a few scratches throughout. The 10 lug rims show some minor oxidation. The strainer is functioning very well.
All parts are original except for the missing snare wires. You can purchase the aftermarket Puresound Retro Super-Sensitive Snare Wires for this model.
