1993 Hamer Daytona/ first year
Hamer Daytona

(Model GDAS). The Daytona was another offset double cutaway, basically a Strat copy with a white Strat-shaped pickguard. The body was made of ash and the neck was bolt-on maple, with a Fender-style “skunk stripe” in the back. The standard fingerboard was maple with black dots, 22 frets, and a 251/2" scale, although a rosewood ’board with pearl dots was optional. The electronics were also Strat-style, with three Seymour Duncan APS single-coil pickups, fiveway select, volume and two tones. These were outfitted with a non-locking Wilkinson VSV vibrato system and Sperzel locking tuners. By ’95 or ’96, the Daytona switched from ash to an alder body. Finish is white transparent.

This is in very good condition. There are many small scratches and a few small dings. The frets show a little wear but there’s a lot of “meat” left. The nickel coating has worn off much of the bridge saddles and pickup pole-pieces. Comes with a new gig bag.
