1976 Gibson Firebird Limited Edition Bicentennial Model
Red White and Blue Firebird “76” Logo - Excellent Condition with Gibson Hard Shell Case
This is an all original 1976 Gibson Firebird Limited Edition Bicentennial Red White and Blue Firebird Logo Model. It’s in excellent condition and is serial number 00233645. There are absolutely no repairs or modifications made to this guitar. This firebird was made for one year only in very limited quantities and celebrates the US Bicentennial.
The body shows very faint signs of play throughout, with light scratches and a few small dings on the face. The back has some small dings and shallow buckle rash localized near the center. The gold plated hardware shows some typical light finish wear (pictured).
There are a few larger dings on the bottom of the body (pictured).
The neck and fingerboard are in excellent condition. There’s neither finish wear on the neck nor pitting or visible fret wear on the fingerboard what so ever. It’s wonderfully straight and the truss rod functions well.
The headstock has a couple small dings on the face and some very faint residue on the back tip from a removed store decal. The tuning machines are working flawlessly.
Overall this Firebird is in exceptional condition and a fabulous rarity in the Gibson Electric guitar legacy; undeniably a solid investment, a beautiful collectible and a prized possession, not to mention a great playing and looking guitar. It’s recently been setup by a technician with low action, no fret buzzing and correct intonation. All electronics are original and functioning perfectly.
