1964 Fender Bassman head
1964 Fender Bassman head. This is a rare transition model with Blonde amp circuitry in a black cabinet. The circuit diagram states that this is the classic 6G6-B circuit. The rubber-stamped code on the tube layout sticker is "NH", which translates to a manufacture date of AUGUST ,1964. Codes on the transformers are 606409, 606420 and 606415, which indicate that they are original. NOS Ampeg 6L6GC power tubes. Chassis is rubber stamp dated TE3364 This amp sounds great. It has recently been completely gone-over and new filter caps, new fuse holder, new “aged silver” repro grille-cloth and a grounded power cord were installed.
