Introduction to Tourism in Pakistan

Tourism boosts the revenue of the economy, creates thousands of jobs, develops the infrastructures of a country, and plants a sense of cultural exchange between foreigners and citizens. The number of jobs created by tourism in many different areas is significant. Pakistan&rsquo's tourism sector has enormous potential. It has some of the world's highest mountains, lakes, and natural sceneries and is a popular destination for adventurers from inside and outside the country.

Tourist Places:

Nearly the whole of Pakistan is blessed with top-notch tourism attractions. A most appealing way exists for historical locations to blend with natural sights. East of Karachi, at Banbhor, with its renowned museum, there are historical sites worth seeing. The largest necropolis is in Sindh, at Makli (a large graveyard of olden times). Makli is the reason Thatta (a district in Sindh) is well-known. Famous historical sites include Moenjo-Daro in the Indus River Valley, Taxila on Rawalpindi's north shore, Harappa next to Sahiwal, the Lahore Fort, the Badshahi Mosque, Jehangir's and Nur Jehan's graves, and the Shalimar Gardens in Lahore.A historical natural site is the Khyber Pass in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, which was used by conquerors to access India from Iran and Afghanistan. Ziarat in Baluchistan is cold and fresh like open nature, as are Murree, Ayubia, Swat, Kaghan, and Naran in the north. In terms of natural beauty, Kalam and its well-known Mahudan lake in the north are paradisiacal.
