The REAL First Airline

Cawston Ostrich Air Line
Although a brilliant concept this airline failed for several reasons. First of all there was no fuel tank to store food for the bird so long trips were a problem. Mainly though passengers discovered the birds refusal to fly once the passenger was on board. A great try, but in the end, this airline never got off the ground.

Many of the early aircraft were given names. This one was named "Nubie".
