Stamped Covers Related to the Airlines
Collecting stamped covers is a whole world in its self and I admit I have very little knowledge in that area. Since I collect airline postcards I've run into some stamped covers with references to various airlines. I've put together a small group of those to supplement my postcard collection. Here is a group that I found interesting. The earliest airline I found who made stationary advertising for their airline is Lignes Aeriennes Latecoere of France who made orange border envelopes for their flights from Morocco. I believe they started in 1922 though my earliest cover is dated 1923. I'm listing all of those I have first and then various other stationary envelopes from other airlines around the world by date. This album will be a long work in progress.

I also thought the stamps with the plane on them were pretty cool and I was able to get covers that used all the denominations of the stamps.

CORREIO AEREO History of Airmail in Brazil
by William Victor Kreibel.
The book, which is available from the American Air Mail Society, shows covers of all the airlines who flew into Brazil. This book started my interest in covers related to the airlines.
