We went fishing this morning just off the shore of West Vancouver. We left the marina at Granville Island at 0700 - and we were in place and fishing by 0730 after a quick trip around downtown Vancouver and Stanley Park. It was me, Colin Jones and David Chao. David had chartered a boat and guide for us for a 5 hour trip. We had 5 good catches. 1 was just a bit too small to keep (under 62cm/25 in) and the other was wild Coho salmon (you can't keep those). But the 3 keepers were all over 20 pounds, white Spring Salmon. Not a bad day at all.....
