Perhaps the #1 annual signature event in Huntington Beach, CA (a/k/a Surf City) is the U.S. Open of Surfing.
Last Thursday (8/30) I made it onto the crowded pier to capture some of the event featuring a few of the surfers and the flavor of the city during this 9 days of surfing madness. Near perfect weather helped attract a huge crowd every day and probably insures a financial success to the city as well.
