US OPEN OF SURFING 2012
The Huntington Beach pier and beach is a mad house this week during the 2012 US Open of surfing.  I took a chance of finding a parking space, and sure enough I lucked out.

While I was on the pier it was the girls turn to show their skills, and I am posting this album of some of of my images.  The last 11 images are of general activities around the pier, including the opposite side of the pier from the open competion, people, and several young women demonstrating a giant skate board, more like a skate surfboard.

I would estimate that 70% of visitors were young people, and generally very well behaved.

Oh, to be young again. Looks like sooo much fun. Have you got shots of the men?

I tried to get some shots of the men last Friday, but parking was impossible unless I wanted to walk over a mile. BB
