2 Photo by my friend Shaun McGrath, taken on the west shore towards the north end of the Salton Sea. The tree is an Oak where you see several Heron nests. In the box shaped fort just to the left of the tree in the shallows of the water a duck hunter was blasting away as ducks went overhead.

19 May 1, 2006, 1st Sergeant Brad Kasal takes post in front of Color Guard where he was awarded the Navy Cross, the nation's second highest award for heroism.
