Offshore Islands From PLC we sailed to Tortuga, Los Roques, Los Aves and then on to the Dutch Antilles.  The Offshore islands of Venezuela are generally uninhabited, low lying and very beautiful.  Most anchorages are protected by coral reefs so navigation is undertaken with care, with the sun overhead or behind; coral is beautiful but entirely unforgiving.
