Allan & Mike took off a couple of days early and did some exploring of Capitol Reef National Park. Day hikes included a trip to the Hickman Bridge, Grand Wash, and visits to many other historical and geological sites in the Park.

Bill: In 1965, Sue and I were on our "honeymoon" pulling a U-haul across the country for my job in Los Angeles. One of the stops we made was hiking up to the Hickman Bridge. We were the only ones on the trail - how times have changed.

Allan: This was what i enjoyed the most at Capital Reef. It was 2.2 miles of narrowing canyon walls with a slight incline. The path was a smooth road. I really want to take my wife here.
