Guinea Pig Fun | Home > Theme Cages >
Rainbow Apartments by Shelley
Using the colors of the rainbow as a starting point for this high-rise apartment, Shelley has created colorful, yet simple theme habitats for her guinea pigs. Corrugated plastic is used for the base of each cage and hardware cloth is used for the sides and back; grid-cube panels are used to enclose the front of the cages (organizational shelving may also be used). She used a 2' x 4' utility-shelf unit to hold the four cages. The bright colors used for the corrugated plastic bases and the items in the cages are all that is needed to create this colorful and fun Rainbow Apartment. Information on making a "Cubes and Coroplast" cage may be found at: www.cavycages.com
