This is a cross between the comic book version and the movie version, it's my version that I made for myself. Envisioning what Supergirl's costume might look like in the real world :-)

It's really only 90% done. I still have to make the cape and get boots :-) The 'S' on the chest isn't sewn completely on yet either ;-)

1 Fabrics All from Spandex World in NYC, matte blue heavy weight, jetset in Red and yellow.	2 Leia helping me lay out my old bathing suit as a pattern.	3 All cut out. I double layered it so there wouldn't be any lines from undergarments ;-)
4 Pinned on the dress form.	5 With the red fabric draped as a cape. I need to get more of this since this is really for the skirt, silly me forgot about the cape lol.	6 Back of fabric draped.

10 I'm really happy with the 'S' except for the right corner is slightly wonky. I don't know why, it just is :-(	11 This better shows the two appliqué layers. The Red 'S' and shield over a yellow shield. The red was then sewn down to the yellow to create one piece.	12
