Before: The wood trim throughout the house was dry, brittle, and faded. And the trim was splattered with paint everywhere. Obviously the previous painters didn't care at all about protecting the wood.

Before: No luster.

The restoration involved painstakingly scraping dried paint off of the trim and then applying mineral oil, which did wonders in restoring the thirsty wood and bringing out the beauty of the grain.

There was a pocket door between kitchen and living room, but it was completely unusable because the tile floor installers tiled in front of it, preventing it from closing. We didn't care about the door itself, but it was ugly to have the door frame gapping and uneven, with the exposed track on top

So we had the door ripped out and new trim installed, then grouted the gap at the bottom.
