Tagalong was found with a bad case of demodex mange. Another rescue group started treating her, but then stopped treatment after just one negative skin scraping. That was apparently not sufficient, because the mange hadn't totally cleared up.

Her hair did grow back on her body and legs very nicely, but she still had bare patches on her head and face, especially around the eyes and on her forehead. So we resumed her treatment and also began treating her for a skin infection.

She loves to wrestle and play tug-of-war with her foster sister, Samoa.

Hi Terry, Luv this little cutie pie!!!!  Just wanted to say hi, and to let you know that Patsie O'Brien (now Jazzy) and gang are just fine.  We love her to pieces, she has turned out to be such a love-sponge, don't know what I would do w/o her.  We just lost Murphy on Saturday, I'm still crying; but with three other Ratties to wipe my tears with, all is well.  There is nothing like a few Rattie kisses to make everything better.  Hope all is well with you and your family.  God Bless all foster families for the good work that you do.   ;o)

What a gorgeous Rat! I have one myself and I love her to death. I feel sad when I hear about rats terriers being abandoned or don't have a home. I'm glad there are people like you who take them in, if only for awhile before they find a permanent home. I don't think I could or I would end up keeping them all!
