Corduroy was adopted 6/21/11 by Ronnie Wells (GA).

1 This fine fellow is named Corduroy.
2 But that's kind of a long name for such a little dinky guy, so he usually goes by 'Roy.
3 He is 1-1/2 years old.
4 Corduroy weighs just 6 lbs. He stands about 9-1/2" tall and is about 10" long.
5 He LOVES to be held or to be in your lap.
6 He can initially be a little timid in unfamiliar situations.
7 The breeder who sold Roy to his former owner told her that Roy was a purebred Rat Terrier, but he looks very Chihuahua.
8 His former owner said that Roy was very dependent on Ray and follows him everywhere. It's true that the two enjoy being near each other, but we've seen it be more mutual, and neither seems perturbed when the other one isn't around as long as there's another dog or a human somewhere in sight.
9 We were told that Roy is "mostly" housetrained and accustomed to potty pads. He has had a few accidents in these first few days here, but this is a transition period since we don't use potty pads. He did VERY quickly learn to use the doggie door, and we expect that once he settles in a bit more and gets used to the house layout and routine he will get himself on a reliable schedule.
