1 The faceplate has been attached. This will allow the wood to be mounted on the lathe spindle.

10 Bowl is rounded and the tenon formed. The tenon is used to reverse the bowl.

18 Off the lathe and ready to be dated, sealed with wax emulsion (Anchorseal) and put away for six months to a year to dry. After the wood is dry it will be final turned and a finish applied.
