Affiliate Program Terms
Terms version: 2026-10-21. Please review with counsel before relying on for disputes.
1. What this is
The ImageEvent Affiliate Program lets approved partners earn a commission for referring new paying customers to ImageEvent. By applying, you agree to these terms and to ImageEvent's Terms of Use.
2. Joining
- Apply on our affiliate page. We review every application, usually within 3 business days, and may decline any application.
- You must be at least 18 and have a real website, channel, newsletter, class or audience.
- ImageEvent employees and contractors can't join.
- You're an independent partner, not an employee, agent or representative of ImageEvent.
3. Your link
- After approval you get a personal link, like
https://imageevent.com/?ref=yourcode. - When someone clicks your link, we remember it for 90 days. If they start a free trial in that time, their account is credited to you. If they click another affiliate's link before starting the trial, the most recent click counts.
- Once an account starts its trial, it stays credited to the affiliate who referred it.
4. What you earn
- 40% of every payment a referred account makes for Premium or Power Premium (monthly or yearly), including extra file blocks, during its first 12 months as a paying customer.
- No commission on: free trials that don't convert, print and product orders, taxes, refunded or charged-back payments, accounts that were paying customers before, or your own accounts.
- Example: Power Premium yearly at $79.95 → you earn $31.98.
5. When and how you're paid
- Each commission is held for 30 days, then approved if not refunded.
- We pay approved commissions monthly, by the 15th, by PayPal in US dollars.
- Minimum payout: $25. Smaller balances carry over.
- If a payment you were already paid on is later refunded, we subtract that from your next payout.
- We can't pay until we have your tax form (section 6).
6. Taxes
- US affiliates: Form W-9 before first payout. Non-US: W-8BEN or W-8BEN-E.
- You're responsible for your own taxes. For 2026 payments, the 1099-NEC reporting threshold is $2,000 per year where applicable.
7. Rules for promoting ImageEvent
You must disclose clearly that you earn a commission (FTC). Describe ImageEvent accurately.
You must not: refer yourself; bid on our brand in paid search; spam; use coupon/deal/cashback sites or cookie stuffing; offer unauthorized incentives; misuse our logo or name; promote on adult, hateful, illegal, or pirated sites.
8. Breaking the rules
We can withhold or reverse commissions, and suspend or close your account. If we close for a rule violation, unpaid commissions are forfeited.
9. Changes and ending
We may change rates or terms with at least 30 days' email notice; commissions already earned stay at the old rate. Either of us can end this agreement by email.
10. The legal bits
The program is provided "as is". Our total liability under this program is limited to commissions paid to you in the previous 12 months. These terms are governed by the laws of California, USA.
