M1875 Officer's Sporting Model
1. M1875 Officer's Sporting Model  (Updated: July 9, 2024)
These photos represent Phase Three of my 5-year project. The barrel and action were carded & rust-blued by Ron Snover of IXL Enterprises. The engraving was done by Master Engraver Ken Hurst, the bluing & case coloration were done by Classic Guns, Inc., and the rough stock by George Petersen of Treebone Carving. All components were sent to Billy Tierce (Bill's Gunshop in Utica, MS) for final fit, checkering, and finish.

The parts came from several Trapdoor Springfield parts vendors, such as Edward E. Knisley, Joe DeChristopher, Keith Rush, and others.
