This album contains before and after images of my recently acquired BSA Martini Model 12-15 .22 caliber single-shot target rifle. It was purchased with my C&R FFL from an avid shooter in Texas who was "thinning his herd" in preparation for moving to another state.

Yesterday I got my BSA rifle back from one of my fellow Geezers at Wheaton Rifle Club. He took this to his home shop and did some great restoration work. He inlet the fore end for a palm rest and for a sling swivel/handstop, plugged 3 holes, filled the chip on the buttstock, and re-finished the wood. He also carded and re-blued the barrel & action taking care to leave the markings and made a new screw for the side of the action. I added a Merit #3 Adjustable Target Aperture (now discontinued and hard to find) since the rifle did not come with a peep sight.
Left side of the re-finished rifle.
The rifle before re-finishing.
The left side of the action and Parker Hale rear sight before re-finishing.
The right side of the action before re-finishing.
Top view for the Parker Hale rear sight without a peep sight before re-finishing.
Top view of the barrel showing the maker's marks before re-finishing.
A view of the fore end before re-finishing the wood. It was inlet for the palm rest and for a sling swivel/handstop. He also plugged 3 holes that were for other attachments.
