WEEBITS TEDDY ROOSEVELT TERRIERS OHIO

Due to my latest heart attack & Tom's forced retirement, we will not be in the show ring or breeding our beloved furkids anymore until we figure out what to do.

These are our Teddy Roosevelt Terriers, Flame & Rider, Gin Gin & Casino, Ghost, Shaylee & Pattycake.
Most will go live with Jackie & Marvin Rogerson in Kentucky (Cedar Rose Kennels).
We will be keeping Casino, Flame, Gin Gin & Pattycake.
You can't ask for a sweeter dog, low to the ground, but can jump & run with the Rat Terriers and never miss a beat. They are easily trained and make wonderful companions whether you live on a farm or in an apartment. This is one breed that gets along with everyone!
Our foundation dogs are dual registered with UKC & UKCI. All puppies from UKC parents are registered UKC.
Champion Lines. Show prospects occasionally to proper breeders only. References needed to purchase one of our special puppies or adults.
Tails are docked or they are natural bobs and dew claws removed.
We feed Purina Pro Plan Shredded Lamb & Rice or Chicken & Rice Food to all of our dogs.
If you like a nice solid Teddy with sound structure, check back next Spring for puppies.

One of the ways we hope to achieve a positive impact is to exhibit and breed those TRT's that most closely approximate the breed standard.
After obtaining their UKC conformation titles, we select the most appropriate stud/bitch with the goal of preserving, improving, and promoting this very special breed.
Our family oriented approach allows for early individual attention, maximum socialization, and housetraining successes. Our babies are healthy and well rounded when they go to their forever homes. It is a lot of fun...and a lot of work! But we would not trade it for anything.
We hope to give back to this wonderful breed a good solid foundation for other breeders in the future.
UKC Registered and all are being shown.
We do not ship our dogs internationally, sorry. And for those on the West Coast, only if you fly in and carry the puppy back with you. We will not put our puppies through such a long flight in a cargo hold.

Helen is a soft spoken woman with a heart of gold that adopted Sir Percival from Fire & Riders first litter. He is now a Therapy dog and has received 2 legs towards his Obedience title. This book was written out of the love for her puppy and to share information with the public on this wonderful breed. 3 WEEBITS SHAYLEE SHAYLEE is a gorgeous girl that I got from Lynette Ray in Indiana, and I knew she had Teddies in her background, going back to Tom's dogs, so we took a chance and bred her to Rider and got a whole litter of Teddies! The female I kept from the litter is already a Champion. Our sweet girl Gin Gin. Her one daughter sired by PTM is already a Champion and is owned by Lexie and one of the boys "Ghost" already has his Championship. Nothing but exceptional teddies from this line!	4 TOM & I
5 KENTUCKY SHOW Tom with Flame who now has 2 majors towards her Championship! Just 1 more needed.	6 WEEBITS FLAME OF FIRE Dad's pride and joy "FLAME". This is one big solid Teddy girl. She is like a little bulldog, and moles don't stand a chance with this digger.
7 Weebits Flame of Fire Flame, still has a fantastic topline after having babies. She needs just 1 more win to receive her Championship.	8 Ch. Weebits Lowrider of CDRose The shadow shows his fantastic confirmation!
9 CH. Weebits Against All Odds Gin Gin is a nice moderate girl. In limited showing she already has 3 majors and a Group 3! She is now a Champion!	10 CH.Weebits Gamblin Man Casino is retired from the show ring, and is now available for stud service. His first litter with Gin will be here mid October.
11 HUNTER, GRANDPA & GHOST Hunter was so happy, and Ghost was tired, lol. They misplaced a few ribbons, but he now has 2 majors towards his Championship. Not a bad 4th of July for my grandaughter or Weebits Kennel. On the 5th Hunter showed Ghost again and finished his Championship! Yeah Hunter.	12 CH. WEEBITS GHOST OF PTM Here is one of our boys sired by PTM out of Shaylee. He will be in the showring soon. Update: Ghost finished his Championship in 3 shows over the July 4th weekend 2009!
13 RWK'S MEMORY OF PTM AT WEEBITS Pattycake is such a love bug, I can't wait for Hunter to show her at the next show. She looks a lot like our Gin Gin who is her Aunt and Shaylee is her grandmother. 15 TRTA STANDARD.rtf This is the only standard recognized by the UKC. If you truly want to promote the breed, read and memorize the standard and apply it to your breedings. There are too many people calling the tiny type B Rat Terriers Teddy Roosevelt Terriers. There is such a difference in the dogs once you see them side by side.	16 Kody and a great story The Purpose of a Dog - from a 4 yr. old Being a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year old Irish Wolfhound named Belker. The dog's owners, Ron, his wife, Lisa, and their little boy, Shane, were all very attached to Belker and they were hoping for a miracle. I examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family we couldn't do anything for Belker, and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home. As we made arrangements, Ron and Lisa told me they thought it would be good for the four-year old Shane to observe the procedure. They felt as though Shane might learn something from the experience. The next day, I felt the familiar catch in my throat as Belker's family surrounded him. Shane seemed so calm, petting the old dog for the last time, that I wondered if he understood what was going on. Within a few minutes, Belker slipped peacefully away.
