BAREFOOT TRIMS
This folder contains 2 albums. Pictures are of 2 horses all going barefoot. Due to the lack of a good reliable shoer in my area, I have no choice. We ride 2 in pleasure tail riding. The other 1 is retired but can be ridden.

1. Omni BF  (Feb 09 2009)
Omni is a 17 yr old Shagya Arab. He is a retired endurance horse with close to 2000 miles. I bought him at 6. He was shod for 10 yrs or so. He has been BF for over a year now. His hoofs are staying strong with no more splits. He has flat soles and long toes. He was a very high maintenance horse, shoeing (hoof) was one of his many confirmation issues. I play ride him now. I mostly do boot him with EZboots.

2. Dixie BF  (Feb 2009)
Pictures of  our 1/2 Arab mule Dixie. 11 yrs. Has been BF for over a year. Hoofs were in bad condition with white line and heel collapse. I have been doing the basic  or standard flat trim with a edge roll. She has improved to the point where Carol can ride her with no boots. If the trail is rough, she has EZBoots-Epic that will work. Tried the TFTT method this time. Removed flares and rolled edges, close to mustang roll?  Pictures are dated with comments.
