EKG Thin Electrodes Option EHRM (Nov 2011)Riders who may want to try a thinner softer EKG electrode with their V-MAX Equine HRM. Use in place of the standard EKG conductive rubber electrodes. These can be found on ebay and on the net. Low cost. Will last for a dozen or more rides. Does not cause rubs or bumps. I have been using these for the past 2 months. Remove the rubber electrode from the lead wire pin. Connect to the pigtail lead on the thin electrode. Do not need gel. When new it will stick to the skin/hair. Long hair is a problem. I trim out a spot. |

B4 Boots Mods (Oct 2011)I made a few mods to Bonnie B4 Boots that worked better for me. I have been using these for the past 4 months. I used them on and off over the year or 2. I now have to use them full-time since the Renegades will not stay on the horse's oblong hoof. These work very well have not lost any in the mud. The mods made attachment better and the back neoprene strip protected the heel bulbs from the rivets and the HD Velcro strap |

GARMIN GPS+HR ADPT KIT (Jan2010 Update Jume 2010)The Garmin 310XT GPSHR system is new to the market. The transmitter is a bit different. I have developed the kit to allow the use on the saddled horse. The 'pigtail' lead wires will clamp on to the transmitter stud snap. These pictures are of my prototype R/D leads. The standard V-MAX EKG lead wire kit snaps into the pigtail snaps. NEW kits available I have ridden with this monitor/GPS. It works great. The G310xt far exceeds the G301/305. Dry Lot- IR Horses-Slo Feeder (July 18 2010)Since I now have 3 IR horses, they get no grass, I made this dry lot. I mowed the grass to dirt and covered with pine wood shaving. A local chipper makes this by the ton. Area is 140x40 maybe larger. Not the best but it works OK and was cheap. I am also making a long run-track. Pictures of the IR herd Added the SLOW HAY FEEDER |

Vet Check water Sys Setup (Jan 15 2005)| How I setup my water spray system at a vet check. I have no crew, this really fixed the water-cooling problems for me. NO sponging, just spray while he eats and drinks. Takes less time to cool him down and its easy for me. I use about 5 gal of water per VC stop |

Corrector-Pad (June 2 2004)| Pictures of how I tested and use the new Len Brown CORRECTOR-PAD. This thing really works very well. I now have 2 and will get another. It made a very nice saddle that was not wide enough fit my horse well - very well. He did 4 LDs back to back 2 per weekend, one 50 miler and another LD. Also used on a new horse.
