These albums are maintained by volunteers who are interested in helping get guinea pigs adopted OUT of the shelters--BEFORE they have to go to a rescue, if there IS a rescue nearby and if the rescue has room. No adoption and no rescue means the guinea pig is put down at most shelters.
If you are interested in volunteering to take photos at a shelter near you, please contact us at: Shelters@CavyRescue.com. You need to be in fairly regular (weekly) contact with the shelter for updates on adoptable guinea pigs and taking new photos when necessary and sending them in via email.
Please, ADOPT and a save a life. Adopt from Shelters, Rescues, or private rehoming situations. Avoid pet stores and breeders and be part of the solution instead of part of the problem.
