| Gravelly Point is just north of National Airport, just across the Potomac from Washington, DC. The Mt. Vernon biking/hiking trail goes by there, and it is possible to watch (and listen!) to lots of aircraft as they arrive and depart National. Walkers, picnickers, and just watchers come out and view the planes. |
