My Power Wagons
| In 1949 Chrysler Corp. donated 16 custom built Dodge Power Wagons to the American Foundation for the Study of Man to be used on two expeditions; Mt. Sinai and Southern Arabia (Yemen). The expedition to Yemen was to explore the ancient Biblical spice routes and to excavate the Queen of Sheba temple in Mareb, Yemen. I was on that expedition as a Motor Transport Specialist, Photographer and Field Director. I returned in 2001 and 2004 to take more photos and do a video. The work is still continuing to this day. |
