The Rat Terrier is a tremendously versatile little dog. He makes a marvelous
companion, excellent hunting dog and all around good friend for both
young and old. He has often been described as a "person in fur"
and "the dog that everybody wants but few people know about."
Their popularity is increasing.
They are natural born entertainers and
will be your child's best friend. Their intelligence is far superior
to most breeds. They have extremely keen senses, making them excellent
watch dogs.
The Rat Terrier is a playful, happy-go-lucky,
devoted companion that is also protective, and yet can be aloof with
strangers. They are an efficient, intuitive hunter as well as an energetic
and intelligent companion, at home in the city or country.
As a house pet they are unsurpassed, being extremely intelligent, loyal,
friendly and happy to be alive.
