Progress with my 49 (09/27/03)| These are pictures of the progress on my 49PW. I don't consider this a restoration, more of a resurection. I just wanted a good clean driver that I could take out on trailrides and not worry about scratching it, getting it dirty or putting a ding in it. As well as at the end of it all know every square inch of the truck. (251, synchronized transmission, 4.89's, centered rearend from a late WC 52 and I'll either be using the original box or a Holmes Speed King wrecker bed that uses original running boards and rear fenders.) |

Trail Truck progress (07/20/04)| This is an open cab trail truck Dad and I are working on. Plans are: small block/automatic & NP200, disc brakes, lockers, power steering, roll cage, shortened pickup box, cut down doors, 11.00 Michelins or Boggers and some very light springs! Nothing fancy(shiney) or expensive, just a good solid basic trail truck made up from parts I already have. |
