Pictures of the Mid-Atlantic Power Wagon Rally, October 2005 in "Wild & Wonderful" West Virginia. Thanks to everyone who made this an event to remember!

1 This image appears on front of T-Shirt surrounded by "Mid-Atlantic Power Wagon Rally" and "Wild & Wonderful West Virginia - October 2005"	2 Back of T-Shirt features a full-color image of this vintage artist rendering of truck modified for use in surveying work.	3 Map showing location of Coopers Rock State Forest. Chestnut Ridge Park is adjacent to Coopers Rock. Exit #15 of I-68.	4 Map of some of the trails (forest service access roads mostly). Rally location is at the head of Darnell Hollow at the line between Monongalia and Preston Counties.
5 Paul Cook is the first to arrive in his 2005 Power Wagon, driving 1,500 miles from Texas!	6 My 1950 B2-PW126. I had just finished the truck earlier that morning.	7 Jim Murdock's truck built by Frank Irons. Beautiful!	8 The trucks assembled for the rally.
9	10 Tim Holloway's work truck from Vermont. Dump bed, Denan overdrive and a really little gas tank!	11 This truck belongs to my buddy Joel Folman and his wife Melissa.	12 David and Kathy Hibberd brought their Power Wagon all the way from Cape Cod making this a truly regional event!
13 Here's a shot of a 1964 W series truck belonging to John Szewczyk (John S. for short).	14 Chris Wetherell's nicely modified Power Wagon from Kentucky. Bed with troop seats is from an M601.	15 Later WM300 style emblems.	16 Don Tucker made the trip from Maryland in this really nicely restored WC half-ton.
17 Nick Kidd demonstrates the off-road prowess of the mighty swivel frame. This is one of 5 or 6 trucks made in Lake City Florida for the Florida Division of Forestry.	18	19	20

25	26	27	28 Not to be outdone, Paul Cook demonstrates the capabilities of the 2005 Power Wagon with locking/unlocking front sway bar.

37	38	39 Nick Kidd takes aim at the mudhole with his swivel frame...	40 ...and dives right in! Way to go Nick!
41 David Hibberd comes up to winch out the stuck truck.	42 Nick being winched out of the hole.	43	44 The swivel frame starts right up after its bath. The differential breathers are plumbed up high in the engine compartment.
45 Tim Holloway enters the hole.	46 Tim makes it look easy. He drove right through the mudhole with his locking rear differential.	47 As close as I'm gonna get to the mudholes in my restored truck.	48

53	54 Yum...Just what the doctor ordered after that long trail ride!	55 My mom and her friends play oldtime music while my dad looks on.	56 Tim Holloway takes home the award for "People's Choice". Yours truly snags "Best of Show". Thanks to judges Todd Somers and Paul Cook!
