E97 C.A. Briggs Lozenge Makers
The E97 set was issued by the C.A. Briggs Lozenge Company of Boston, Mass. circa 1910 and features 30 players checklisted on the back of each card.  These cards are extremely hard to find in any condition.  Many of the players and poses found in this set are unique to the E97 set and therefore cannot be found in other caramel or tobacco sets.  E97s are also found in Black & White versions on very thin paper stock.  The Sullivan, Boston card is considered to be one of the rarest cards in the hobby.
