enlarge 109KB, 800x557 1 Parker, Greg, and Evan - Our last trip down to the Beach House was on Memorial Day. The boys had fun making sand castles - Evan was more into destruction than construction.
enlarge 108KB, 800x572 2 Evan "helping" his dad.
enlarge 117KB, 800x557 3 More beach fun.
enlarge 131KB, 800x557 4 Parker and I piled up all these crab shells and claws and Greg would bury Evan's legs and we would say the crabs were going to get him so he would pull himself out yelling mightilly.
enlarge 104KB, 800x571 5 Greg molds himself into a comfortable spot.
enlarge 111KB, 557x800 6 Parker tries his dad's spot.
enlarge 73KB, 800x557 7 Andrew and Ellie - Pullman. We went over to see them for our anniversary.
enlarge 97KB, 800x557 8 Boris - Andrew's cat. He is a very frisky playful cat.
enlarge 64KB, 800x557 9 Mister is a little older than Boris and is No. 1 in the pecking order.
enlarge 50KB, 800x557 10 View of the fields in the Paloose - I don't know if that is mustard or not but the different colors and textures are very pleasing to the eye.
enlarge 65KB, 800x574 11 For the last four years we've passed the sign for Steptoe Butte and always said that we would like to go up there. Well this time we did. This is the view from the top looking Southeast back towards Pullman. The fields were all green at this time of year (June).
enlarge 94KB, 557x800 12 Looking north from the top of Steptoe Butte - you can see the mountains in Idaho far off. The road below winds around the mountain several times like one is climbing a Ziggerat.
enlarge 79KB, 800x557 13 We had never been to northeast Washington so we took a road trip thruough Collville and then back west. This is Roosevelt Lake (Grand Coulee) just above Kettle Falls - an historic site where the Indians would catch Salmon coming up the Columbia. Now the falls are covered with the water of Lake Roosevelt. Very beautiful view from the bluff above the river (from the Historic MIssion Building).
enlarge 92KB, 800x557 14 Looking north - there is a trail leading around the point from the old mission building.
enlarge 108KB, 800x557 15 Further around the point - a marker here says that historic Fort Colville lies under the bay here (sometimes the foundations are visible at low water.)
enlarge 78KB, 800x619 16 A year ago (7/3/04), we went to Wisconsin for my nephew Sean and Manon's wedding. I made this anniversary card for them.
enlarge 124KB, 800x557 17 In July we took the boys to a lot of Library Programs for the Summer Reading Program. This is Evan at the Richmond Beach Library Park playground. He had a lot of fun both in the park and at the program.
enlarge 102KB, 800x557 18 Parker's 7th Birthday Party - Parker and Serena (his oldest friend) on the swing.
enlarge 97KB, 800x557 19 Water balloon toss - wet and wild. Evan is getting in on the action.
enlarge 93KB, 800x557 20 Opening the presents.
enlarge 93KB, 800x557 21 Parker with his gifts.
enlarge 77KB, 800x557 22 Karen's creation - a Froggy Birthday cake (He also had a Froggy cake for his 2nd birthday- he called it his Happy Cake). Still interested in Frogs, Sue says he had just about every frog book checked out from the Richmond Beach Library.
enlarge 79KB, 800x557 23 Boys will be boys - Making rude noises is always a lot of fun.
enlarge 82KB, 800x557 24 Diving into the birthday cake.
enlarge 80KB, 800x557 25 Parker - Having fun on his birthday.
