Thanks for the pictures, do you know how easily a slant six can relace the flat head in my 53 Fargo ? - matthew, Wed, 30 Apr 2003 9:31PM
When I rebuilt my '56 in 1975 I found a new cab in the junk yard.Pedals hung under dash. I use the new brake pedal and the old clutch pedal (thru the floor). One of these days I'll figure out how to arrange the linkage to use the new pedal--maybe hydraulic? Great to see how the slant six was suppose to look. Too bad the Dodge canned the update. - Too Tall, Mon, 4 Feb 2002 5:08AM
I have a 1971 X33 Dodge flatfender. Mine has a factory installed 251 flathead. Are you sure that this slant six was not installed at a later date? What is the history behind the truck. I would like to compare my truck with your truck. - Rob Schweiger, Sun, 3 Feb 2002 4:43PM
Brian, looks like your moving right along on her. Wild brake setup. Best wishes, Mike Morgan - Mike in Indiana, Thu, 17 Jan 2002 8:20AM
I am envious, but hopefully, not for long. was the slant 6 part of the modification done by Israeli Army? - Bill Matz, Sun, 13 Jan 2002 11:19AM
