32. Golden Week 2004  (April 28 - May 6, 2004)
The Golden week holiday in Japan consits of a week long spring holiday. There are 4 official national holidays - Green Day, Constitution Day, National People's Day and Children's Day. The country goes crazy and everyone travels all at the same time. The roads are crazy and the trains are impossible.
We decided to brave it and headed out to Mt. Fuji for one day and to Kyoto City for another two days. We had a good holiday.

After doing the official paper wedding in July, Li and Li wanted to hold a party. Li left all the details up to Janet and I. We decided the cheapest and the best way would be a BBQ. I got permission from my apartment guy and we carried out this old fridge and bought a very long extension cord for music. I made invitaions and we handed them out. We had a great BBQ. All the apartment people were there with their kids, tons a friends and a lot of fun.
