There is a legend of a Native American girl who stole horses from rich people who settled in Colorado and built sprawling cattle ranches. This girl would steal the horses and turn them free to live with the wild mustangs who lived in the Four Corners area. One especially dry summer, Aiyana, the young girl, was caught. It is said the heavens wept for her and the thunder of the horses hooves rang out for a month while mourning her capture. Aiyana... the Eternal Blossom.
