Lane was named after the famous bull rider Lane Frost. Lane Frost was immortalized in the movie "Eight Second Ride" depicting his life and death. Frost's death was very instrumental in the development of protective gear and regulations that now apply to the bull riding sport that help prevent many serious injuries.

7 Lane won Best Miscellaneour Group in Houston! The Houston show is a huge show. And Lane managed to pull of a huge win beating his Daddy Colt for Best Male, his Mama Tehya for Best of Winners and Best of Breed, AND he beat all the other Miscellaneous dogs who were there! Quite an accomplishment for a ten month old pup!
