Beki, I always loved that silk duster that Betcey gave you, and the bracelet is beautiful. But I am at least happy to see that I am not the only one who takes expensive classes and doesn't get all the projects finished. Thanks for the inspiration!!

Leaf Pendant made with PMC Sheet cutouts, pre-prefired and shaped to fit.  Dichro cab and CZ.

This piece had a blow-out when being fired.  As the clay shrank in the kiln, my bezel cut through and left a gaping mess.  I've repaired the hole, but I still haven't set the cab into the bezel properly.  I'll get to it...tomorrow....tomorrow....tomorrow

Bisque Beads painted with paste.
Dragonflies punched from sheet, fired and then attached.  Then the beads were fired and LOS'd.  I then used my dremel to "polish" off the LOS on the d'flies.

My dry construction project.
Notice the ever so subtle texture...LOL.  Next time I'll be sure to use a mold that has a deeper texture.
Fuchsia CZ set in place with syringe.

A piece of lace coated with paste and then encrusted with jewels and syringe work.  LOS'd because the Dragon likes her stuff super gaudy!

The fold-over double sided texture project.  The back texture is the same fine lines like on the vine coming around the front and holding the Olivine CZ.  LOS'd.

My Vessel project.
Paste over cork clay.
Leaves cut from sheet and applied with syringe and paste.  Fine silver wire handles coated with paste to match the texture of the Amphora.
I LOS'd the entire piece, then polished it back off the leaves and then applied again with a brush to stop them at a golden color.

This pretty bracelet is a design by Carol Wilcox Wells.  I went to a bead retreat in July in Cambria, CA and this was one of the three classes she taught. (and so far my only completed piece...ugh)
It is made from 3 assorted colors of size 11 seeds and then 3mm 5000 Swarovski crystals in Amethyst, Tanzanite, LCT & Topaz.

I am not sure when I will stop welling up with tears each time I look at this sweet piece.
She was gifted to me by Thom Atkins at the Puget Sound Bead Festival.  He gave her to me just because he saw how much I loved her.  How could you not love her?!
