5 Here are pics from July - The kids and I took a big road trip to visit my Grandparents - their Great-Grandparents in Santa Barbara, CA. We were there for my Grandpa's 80th birthday bash on the 4th of July. These pics are from Santa Cruz though - Natural Bridges State Park. This was the day of fun we got to have with my brother Matt. 14 Elena and I went downtown (just 2 blocks past where the growers market is) to check out this street drawing event. Really fun. Ricco stayed home with younger kids. Lilia decided not to come at the last minute and then when she heard about exactly what Elena got to do - cried for about an hour - bummer. What to do? Honestly, it was great to just get some time alone with Elena. Pretty rare for me.
