Terrier Racing Fun day practicing terrier racing at the greyhound track. Here are a few photos sent to me from Demi's mom... I hope to add more as more are sent.. Hopefully there will be some of Demi racing too :)

We had a nice day in a greyhound track today. Day was cold and cloudy but at least it wasn't raining when we were there. Now it is raining... Demi didn't care of the lure (?) but luckily I ran beforehand to the end and she ran to me She is quick but so my girl that today running she couldn't care less anything else but me
Here are some pictures I took. We had 3 AHT teams: yellow (Demi's), orange and pink. I couldn't take pictures of Demi running but I hope someone else took. I also asked Imppu to take picture of me and Demi with her camera. If it is decent I'll send it to you too.
Demi went straight to bed when we got home and now she is sleeping in my lap Sweet girl

Here are the results of the BreedRace competion.
There were 52 teams in Mini-class and aht-teams were 5th !!!, 24th and 30th. Demi was in that 30th... But we had fun :) We just need little bit more practice. Quickest aht was Uho who was 4th from all those over 200 dogs!! Quite good :D |

Finland AHT Club (January 10, 2007)On the evening of January 5, 2007 the newly formed Finnish AHT Club had their United Kennel Club Rules and Regulations Seminar given by Teri Murphy.
The next day followed with 2 AHTA Specialties.
The first Specialty was judged by Teri Murphy. For many it was their very first dog show. Exhibitors were new to UKC as well. This provided a good teaching and learning opportunity for both myself and exhibitors making it a rewarding experience for all involved.
The 2nd Specialty was Judged by Rachael Murphy.
There were 20 AHTs entered in each show..
To date there are approximately 60 AHTs in Finland ..

Is living with Leena Pääkkönen in Lieksa, Finland and co-owned with Sari Uusitalo
Leena teaches music. The town of Lieksa is a small city in the countryside (population about 14,000). She has two daughters, Anni (age 14) and Emmi (age 11) and two Spanish Water Dogs.

Leena studies musical therapy and Räppi is a “music therapy dog” and would like Tempo to work with her in this capacity as well. Leena also serves on a couple of dog commitees and her favourite hobby is agility and obedience and teaches preliminary agility courses. |
