I've not been in the holiday spirit, but gave it a try when we went to a bridal shower for my son and his fiancee.
Two of my lovely daughters: Jenna (18) and Karyn (14). They were on their way to go Christmas shopping.
Anyone who knows me well, knows that this table is usually covered with my Civil War reenactment clothing and linens waiting to be pressed. I cleaned it off in honor of Christmas to try and make it pretty in here. The floral arrangement is from a childhood friend up in Massachusetts who always seems to know when I need a "pick me up". Thank you, Karen. I love you!!
Here is my beloved Wanda. Wanda came to me via Ratbone Rescue and I now don't care who knows that I have " Hannah" as she use to be known as. NJ, please know that I love her dearly and she is a bright light in my life and a fabulous example of an AHT. I only wish that she were a registered gal who could one day contribute to the breed with her out-going, I love everyone temperament. Her conformation is great. I know you don't like me, but I thank you for whatever part you played in producing this girl. My best to you, NJ.
NJ, Wanda has a lovely front, topline and a head that is just about perfect. Merry Christmas to you from her.
This is a humidor for cigars that my husband gave me for Christmas. I bought him a gorgeous knife and gave it to him early so he thought he had to give me a gift early too. I am considering using it as a jewelry box. It's too pretty for cigars with it's inlaid wood and leather top.
Last night, the 23rd, was my son Jared's 22nd birthday. It always amazes me when I look at him. I still picture that premature baby who looked like a hairless rat when I brought him home from the hospital on Christmas Eve.
Jared, modeling the sweater his sister gave him for his birthday. I gave him spending money for the cruise he went on last week.
This is Emily, my Christmas gift to myself for my doll collection.
This is my Peanut, who many of you know. This is her favorite place during the holiday season.
Wanda, with her beloved gorilla who makes the sqreechiest (is that a word?) and she attacks him every time I squeeze the noise box in him. She totally killed one and we went back to Newnan, Georgia to buy her 2 more.
The aftermath of the opening of the gifts
Wanda, watching it all from my chair, which had the heat on

"Why did she put this silly bow on my head?"
The dueling pistols I have been wanting for years.

Cousins opening gifts
I had admired this pillow years ago at my mother-in-law's house and she had it cleaned and gave it to me for Christmas. It was a total surprise.

Randy and his Mother. I think she had a wonderful time this first Christmas in her new house.
Josie and I taking a little trail ride. I had to wear an orange vest and put an ugly orange stocking cap on my hat seeing it is hunting season.
Sharon and Josie. He is turning into quite the nice trail horse, much to Brien's chagrin.........hehehehehe. Josie is a good horse and I have no problem getting him to take a bit.......LOL
