The decision to go with a BBC has altered my plans for the 4 speed conversion (I think)......so - I bought this TH400 and had it rebuilt.

The 'holy grail' of the A/G Body bellhousings. This is for an 11 inch clutch/168 tooth flywheel.  This is a very hard to find part.

This is the firewall (engine side) on my 1983 El Camino. The upper clutch rod will pass through the hole (1 1/2") that the Cruise Control harness once passed through. If your car does not have cruise, and this hole is not present-there is a 'dimple' where the hole should be.
