One day after the new graduates of the Sturgis Composite High School celebrated their graduation, the 1974 class who graduated the same school 50 years earlier reunited for a their half century "away from school" celebration. The new grad students celebration was on June 7, 2024 and the Class of 1974, 50 year reunion was on June 8, 2024. The 2024 grads and 1974 grads shared hall decorations as the theme of two celebrations were basically the same, only separated by half a century.
